"Equipping the People of God for the Healing of the Nations"

Located just outside the town of Orangeville in Ontario, Canada, on 50 acres of beautiful property miraculously provided by God, Singing Waters Ministries has been serving the Church since 1956.  Through the years, the heart of the Ministry has remained focused on reaching out to the people of God with healing and restoration.

Like this river that has small beginnings… only a small trickle that swells to a stream, that meets and combines with other streams of water, together joining to become a mighty river flowing into the ocean...  the Nottawasaga River, which means "River of Outlet" in the Iroquois language, has its headwaters near Orangeville and runs through Singing Waters.  From there it flows into Georgian Bay, then into the Great Lakes, along the St. Lawrence River and out into the Atlantic Ocean.  We believe this is a prophetic picture speaking into our corporate calling at Singing Waters - to be an outlet for the healing power of God to the nations.  This is pictured by the prophet Ezekiel:

"Water was trickling…he led me through the water, water reaching the ankles… Again he measured a thousand and led me through the water, water reaching the knees.  Again he measured…water reaching the loins.  Again he measured…and it was a river that I could not ford…  Then he brought me back to the bank of the river…  These waters go out toward the eastern region… then they go toward the sea, being made to flow into the sea, and the waters of the sea become fresh.

And it will come about that every living creature which swarms in every place where the river goes, will live.  And there will be very many fish, for these waters go there, and the others become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes…  And by the river on its bank, on one side and on the other, will grow all kinds of trees for food.  Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail.  They will bear every month because their water flows from the sanctuary, and their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing." (Ezekiel 47:1-12)

Canada's flag is unique.  It is the only flag in the world that bears a leaf as its insignia.  It has been spoken over Canada that as a nation we are a people set apart by God to play an integral part in bringing healing to the nations, or perhaps more clearly stated, the people groups of the world.  This is significant for the ministry at Singing Waters, as our heart is to be like the "river of outlet" which not only brings healing to individuals, families, churches and nations, but also helps fulfill the prophetic call of the nation of Canada.
