THE HOUSE OF BLESSING

Singing Waters Ministries  traces its history back to 1956. Kay Golbeck, a woman of great faith, responded to a vision that she believed God had given her one day as she read her Bible.  This vision, seemingly imposed upon its pages, was of a lovely old brick farmhouse surrounded by pines and spruce trees.  It would not leave her.

It wasn't long before a real estate friend showed her a property in the Hockley Hills near Orangeville.  When she approached the property she saw the very house and trees God had shown her in the vision.  As she took the first step onto the property she heard a sound - a lovely melody coming through the trees - it was the sound of the river rushing over the rocks in the valley.  Searching for the right word she exclaimed, "Water... singing waters... Singing Waters!  If I buy this place, if this is to be God's House of Blessing, it shall be called Singing Waters.  And I shall pray that all who come here shall leave with a song in their hearts."
